Staying cheap for one month in Jomtien Pattaya

There are really too many rooms for tourists in the Pattaya area, especially in the surroundings of Pattaya City, like in Jomtien etc.
In the LOW SEASON, that is...

I will here just present one concrete hotel that will offer a very good price for a one month stay:

Seabreeze Jomtien Residence

This is actually a hotel, situated in Soi Wat Boonkanjanaram, wich is a connecting road between the Jomtien Beach Road, the Second Road and all the way up to the Sukhumvit Road.

Approximately 700 meters up from the beach, you will find this hotel along the main road, on the right side. In the basement there is a 7-Eleven, a Laundry shop, a Massage Parlor and a Restaurant (Seabreeze Box).

This relatively small Hotel building has one night rooms starting from 850 baht per day. There is a larger room available too, I am not sure about the daily rate for that one.

The point is that if you have plans to stay in Pattaya for more than let us say 2 weeks, this place offers monthly rents for as cheap as 7000 baht (with negociation, that is).

I am right now enjoying such a room, and I can really recommend the place. Yes, it is 700 meters from the beach, so you can walk or take a motorbike taxi down to the beach if you like. In the vicinity there are so many options for tourists, like bars, markets, buffets etc.

Let us look at the room I stay in:

Staying in this nice room is really a bargain for the price of 7000 baht a month! Yes, electricity, water and cleaning comes extra, but still it is amazing good value!

In addition to this room, you have the right to use the Gym and the nice Pools at the Seabreeze Resort, down by the Jomtien Beach itself. That place is situated approximately 2 kms from the Seabreeze Residence. They have the same owner, so you get to use the resort for free!

If you want a larger room than mine, it will cost 10 000 baht a month.

There are many other similar offers around Pattaya and Jomtien, but this is a very good option for a 1-2 months stay.

If you wish to stay longer, and have the proper visa, there are plenty of choices as cheap as 8000 baht per month, with one bedroom, living room, fully furnished, Pool and Gym on the location, with Aircon and hot shower in the neighbourhood: Park Lane. The Pool is just amazing, and the complex is relatively new.


In Majestic Condo, one of the neighbouring buildings, which is an old building, you can find fully furnished rooms for around 4-7000 baht per month as well. There is a pool there as well.
